Meet our leaders

Chief Executive Officer

Director of Care Management

Director of Care Management

Stephanie Valdez

Hi everyone, I'm Stephanie Valdez, born and raised right here in Monterey County. This community isn't just where I'm from; it's where my heart is. My family has deep roots here, and growing up surrounded by strong values of faith, family, and service shaped who I am today.

For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of working with families and individuals from all walks of life. With degrees in Child Development and Human Development & Family Science, my journey has always been centered on helping people grow, heal, and find hope, even in the hardest seasons.

Founding BRIDGE Community Services of CA came from a place of purpose. I truly believe this is part of God's calling on my life to serve others, to advocate for those who feel unseen, and to help create pathways toward stability, healing, and success.

Every story matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and every journey has value. Through BRIDGE, we're here to walk alongside our community, reminding people that they are not alone and that brighter days are ahead.

Hi, I'm Jenny. I am passionate about serving my community and living out my faith through meaningful work. Having personally received assistance from a similar organization, I bring a deeply personal commitment to this mission. Guided by my faith and gratitude for every door God has opened, I approach my work with compassion, dedication, and purpose. Originally from Southern California, I now proudly call Monterey County home. I’m a proud wife and devoted dog lover—especially of my two pugs—and thankful for the ways God continues to lead and grow me each day.

Director of South County

Sofia Rufino

As the South County Director, I am proud to serve the community I’ve called home my entire life. Growing up in Greenfield, I have witnessed firsthand the real needs facing our families, especially within our predominantly Spanish-speaking neighborhoods, where vital services are often limited or located far from those who need them most. These experiences have inspired me to give back and advocate for those who are too often overlooked. My focus is on strengthening our South County community by expanding access to the services that Bridge Community Services of CA has to offer, ensuring families receive the care and resources they deserve.

Diana Guth

Hi, I'm Diana. As an Outreach Program Director, I am deeply committed to overseeing programs and partnerships that create meaningful impact in the communities we serve. My work is rooted in connection, service, and a genuine passion for helping others thrive. I believe that strong partnerships and well-supported programs have the power to transform lives, and I am honored to play a role in making that happen every day.

Prior to stepping into this role, I spent 12 years working in the medical field. That experience strengthened my compassion, sharpened my ability to serve people during vulnerable seasons of life, and deepened my understanding of what it truly means to care for others. The lessons I learned during those years continue to shape the way I lead and support the communities I serve today.

Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, I carry with me a strong sense of community, resilience, and purpose. My journey has included seasons of struggle that shaped my perspective and strengthened my compassion. Those experiences fuel my dedication to supporting others as they navigate their own challenges.

Above all, I am a proud parent of four beautiful children who inspire me daily to lead with integrity, faith, and love. My strong faith in God guides both my personal life and professional mission, reminding me to serve with humility, grace, and unwavering commitment. Helping others isn’t just my career — it’s my calling.

Over the past three years as an Enhanced Care Manager, I have witnessed many of the challenges families in our community face, often compounded by a lack of resources and the difficulty some experience in speaking up for themselves. I find great fulfillment in making a positive difference in their lives. Hearing how pleased they are with the support I provide and seeing the impact in my community is what motivates me each day. Facing challenges together and helping families overcome barriers is truly why I love what I do.
